Strange Tales of Liazhai

Strange Tales of Liazhai is a performance work based on stories collected in the 18th century by the Chinese scholar Pu Songling. The work will use manual overhead projection by Hannah Wasileski to evoke time and place, live music, composed and performed by Jane Wang, and the movements and gestures of materials, fabrics, shapes, color and light, choreographed and performed by Hanne Tierney.
